2022Napa Valley Rosé
Bright, floral, and effortlessly lifted. Wild strawberry, citrus blossom, and fresh melon come together in a rosé that feels equally suited for long lunches, warm evenings, and the kind of table that never seems to empty.
Regenerative Napa wines with organic farming, classic Oakville structure, and a soulful sense of place.
Bright, floral, and effortlessly lifted. Wild strawberry, citrus blossom, and fresh melon come together in a rosé that feels equally suited for long lunches, warm evenings, and the kind of table that never seems to empty.
Deep, polished, and unmistakably Oakville. Blackcurrant, cedar, and graphite sit over a powerful structure that carries both richness and restraint. A Cabernet built for slow dinners and patient cellars.
Vibrant and expressive with layers of red fruit, soft spice, and dried herbs. This Grenache leans energetic rather than heavy, offering a more lifted and conversational style of Napa red.

Continue to CheckoutHoopes Vineyard is a small, family-owned Napa producer with roots that run deep through Oakville. The story begins with farming, family, and a belief that wine should carry the place it comes from, not just the name on the label.
Today, the estate is led by second-generation proprietor Lindsay Hoopes, who brings both stewardship and conviction to the family’s Napa legacy. Her approach keeps the wines connected to the land while pushing the property toward a more thoughtful, regenerative future.
What drew Reserves & Rarities to Hoopes is that the wines feel rooted without feeling frozen in time. The Oakville Cabernet brings classic structure, while the Rosé and Grenache show a more open, expressive side of Napa. Together, they tell the story of a producer balancing heritage, farming, and a modern sense of hospitality.
A two-index framework — each criterion scored 0 to 1.
How the wine itself is built.
All three Hoopes selections score as small-production wines, with the Rosé, Oakville Cabernet, and Grenache each receiving strong production-scale credit.
The 2019 Oakville Cabernet receives full vintage-context credit, while the 2022 Rosé and 2022 Grenache receive solid vintage-context scores.
The Oakville Cabernet receives partial classification credit for its defined Oakville positioning, while the Napa Valley Rosé and Grenache remain broader appellation expressions.
The Oakville Cabernet carries the strongest scarcity score, while the Rosé and Grenache remain limited but more accessible within the Hoopes collection.
How distinctive the winery experience is.
Hoopes receives partial ownership-presence credit, reflecting family and proprietor involvement without relying on a fully owner-hosted tasting model.
The Hoopes experience earns full presentation credit for offering a more distinctive, hospitality-driven winery visit beyond a standard tasting.
Structured food or culinary elements elevate the experience, giving Hoopes full culinary-integration credit within the Rarities Index.
Four criteria, each scored 0 to 1: production scale, vintage context, production classification, and label scarcity. Measures how intentionally rare and structurally distinguished a wine is from the standpoint of how it was made and released.
Three criteria, each scored 0 to 1: ownership presence, presentation, and culinary integration. Measures the experiential depth surrounding the winery — what you remember, not just what you drink.
The framework rewards intentionality, transparency, craftsmanship, and experiential depth — not technical perfection or critic-style 100-point scoring.
