A deeper red expression from Priest Ranch with plush dark fruit, savory structure, and enough polish to move easily from a special dinner to a quiet cellar pull.
Priest Ranch’s bold red blend with richness, personality, and a little mischief in the name. Built for the guest who wants the bottle on the table to carry a story.
All Priest Ranch wines in this edition are available individually. Quantities may be limited and availability can change without notice.
Priest Ranch traces its story to one of Napa Valley’s historic ranch properties, with roots reaching back to 1869 and the land established by James Joshua Priest, a Gold Rush prospector whose name still anchors the estate.
Today, the winery is shaped by a vineyard-first approach. Winemaker Cody Hurd and Director of Viticulture Jake Knobloch work across the property’s diverse elevations, exposures, soils, and microclimates to create wines that feel expressive, structured, and unmistakably tied to place.
Reserves & Rarities selected Priest Ranch for this edition because the wines carry both polish and personality — from the bright Grenache Blanc to the richer Malbec and the bold, story-worthy Snake Oil red blend.

What stood out across the Priest Ranch selection.
The 2021 Snake Oil carries the highest Reserve score in this Priest Ranch selection, led by stronger vintage context, classification, and scarcity.
The collection moves from an accessible white wine entry point to a more distinctive red blend profile, giving the set a wider discovery arc.
One white and two reds: Grenache Blanc, Malbec, and Snake Oil. A compact selection that shows both approachability and a more adventurous side of Priest Ranch.
Four criteria, each scored 0 to 1: production scale, vintage context, production classification, and label scarcity. Measures how intentionally rare and structurally distinguished a wine is from the standpoint of how it was made and released.
Three criteria, each scored 0 to 1: ownership presence, presentation, and culinary integration. Measures the experiential depth surrounding the winery — what you remember, not just what you drink.
The framework rewards intentionality, transparency, craftsmanship, and experiential depth — not technical perfection or critic-style 100-point scoring.
